AI can help people sustain physical activity by adapting goals to ability, schedule, and recovery, while avoiding streak mechanics that reward overtraining or punish legitimate rest.

Streaks can support continuity, but recovery mechanics are essential because a single broken day can turn a motivating record into an abandonment trigger.
